Adam Schendel

Adam Schendel NP is the Chief Clinical Officer for OnSite Healthcare and Wellness LLC. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. He has been in healthcare and in some form of service to the community for over 30 years, initially beginning as a tech in a Trauma Center/ER. Through the years he became a registered nurse and worked in various Intensive Care Units and Emergency Rooms and eventually being in charge of these departments. He also served as a Fire Fighter Paramedic while working as a Nurse on the off days. As a nurse practitioner, he started working in Trauma and Emergency services and broadened his scope by working with the frail elderly and those with various dementias, psychiatric illnesses, and rehabilitation and he continues his work today. He also served for non-profit organizations including the Carolina’s Society of Post-Acute and Long-Term Care medicine. Adam has implemented various programs to improve patient quality service and outcomes throughout North and South Carolina. He is also one of the founders and previous Chief Financial Officer for the non-profit, The Mentoring and Leadership Development Institute for at risk children. In his off time, he enjoys going to church, gardening, and spending time and going on family trips with his wife of 17 years and his 4 children.
